A mixed-use, 30-story hotel and condo in the North Eastern United States avoided major water damage when an Alert Labs sensor alerted maintenance teams to a leak.

Automated Water Leak Phone Call

Crews were carrying out hydrostatic testing at the 300-unit hotel, which is in the final phases of construction, when some plumbing and a fitting began to leak. An Alert Labs water leak detector placed near the pipe triggered the AlertAQ™ water intelligence platform to send an automated phone call notifying the maintenance team of the location of the leak. Within minutes, the pipe was repaired and major water damage was avoided.
