Yes. This is informational, non-revenue submetering — for visibility and cost allocation, not utility billing.

How does a clamp-on ultrasonic water flow sensor work?

Water changes how fast that signal travels, and the sensor turns that tiny timing difference into a flow reading, minute by minute.
