Yes. How does a clamp-on ultrasonic water flow sensor work?

It works like sonar. Two sensors sit on the outside of the pipe and send a signal back and forth across the flowing water. Water changes how fast that signal travels, and the sensor turns that tiny timing difference into a flow reading, minute by minute. Because it clamps on the outside, there's no cutting the pipe and no plumber.
